Aged Letters

I designed these letters from the original story the production is based on. Students distressed and aged them with coffee and faux blood. They were given out with tickets to the production and used as an interactive prop by ateendees.

Apothecary Spellbooks

Students transformed old textbooks and discard books into unique spellbooks for the apothecary scene. They used lots of creativity and a variety of materials. The special education class contributed a lovely set.

Haunted graveyard scene

Foam tombstones, paper as dirt, a mausoleum made of cardboard, and atmospheric LED lighting make up this haunted scene.

Decaying Library

A library being taken back by nature, with all the set dressing and lighting in place.

The Sinking Church in the Swamp

We used the foam inside discarded white boards and I taught students a method to texture and paint it like stone walls. Stained glass window made from foam board.

Swamp Cemetery Gate

Building process and final staging for faux concrete cemetery gate

Corpsing a Skeleton

I taught the students a method to make a bright white skeleton more realistic and creepy with decaying skin made from plastic and adding paint and moss detailing.

Steampunk Zombie Costume

This frightening costume was designed by a student, Elsie. She used the materials and props we had in unexpected ways to make stunning creations.
